An expert in the field of creativity and innovation. He co-authored “The Arts in Schools: Principles, Practice and Provision” a standard text in the UK and around the world. His report, “All Our Futures: Creativity, Culture and Education” had a huge impact on both government and corporate attitudes towards creativity. He was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for his outstanding achievements as a writer, speaker and leader in creativity, the arts and education.
