Imagination in Action℠
The mission of the imagine it! project is to help teachers, parents and students use their imagination to make the world a better place.
LEARN
An easy way to get involved is to watch the films
Ok, we know “WATCH” is self explanatory but we do want you to watch the imagine it! films, shorts and clips. You have to start somewhere so start by watching our START video.
CREATE
ReMix & Mash-up User Generated Videos
Watching is not enough, we want you to doing something. So, we have developed a very cool Online Collaborative Media studio, which is a one way of describing our new media editor and tool set that gives teachers, parents and students the power to make movies.
For a quick look-see at our new remixer click here. To demo the imagine it! Online Collaborative Media Editor e mail richard@imagineitproject.com.
Public Service Video Campaign
Hey teachers and students around the world, create your own video using imagine it! videos, b-roll, music and graphics along with your videos, interview clips, music and graphics. Mix, match and mash-up a video and see if yours gets distributed on top websites, television or included in our next film imagine it!³, the story of unleashing human potential to solve global challenges.
Make a video, 3 minutes or less, that shows the world getting better.
You can select any example that you think best illustrates problems being solved, progress being made, issues being resolved. Think positive!
Look for examples at home, in school, around your community, among your friends, at businesses and non-profits. Think of areas such as science, engineering, art, architecture, technology and nature. Identify challenges such as access to clean water, solar energy, health care, urban infrastructure, education, security, terrorism, transportation, space exploration, scientific discovery. Or, come up with a challenge you see being solved.
Start your video with: “I believe my world is getting better. Here’s why…”
Ideas for you: Interview experts, friends, yourself; film “action shots” of work being done on a solution; tell a story by looking at a problem/solution from the past, present and future.
End for your video with: “That’s the power of my imagination in action.”
Then use our online collaborative media console to mix, edit and upload your video.
The Imagination in Action℠ PSA video campaign begins soon, email richard@imagineitproject.com for details.
