We are on a mission to encourage creativity, imagination and innovation.
In February 2007 (during Entrepreneurship Week USA) we partnered with Stanford University to invite college students from around the world to participate in a global creativity challenge.
The challenge? Add value to a pack of Post it® Notes...in just six days!
Stanford created the challenge. Imagine it! filmed the process. And the result is an inspiring documentary film that offers lessons on: how to see opportunities where others don’t; how to create something from nothing; how to overcome fear of failure; how to work under pressure; and how to go from idea to product fast.
Student teams from North America, Asia, Europe and Latin America surprised everyone with what they did. They opened minds, raised and donated money, composed music and educated children.
The challenge was a huge success. The film imagine it! premiers on February 22, 2008 at Stanford University.
So what if we take this a big step further? What if we encouraged limitless creative challenges around the world? Imagine the creativity that would be unleashed! Here’s what we’re doing now:
-Global Innovation Tournaments held each year.
-Adding more challenges, more partners, more students. If you know of creative challenges let us know we’ll add them to the community.
-Creating documentaries, online and classroom media for teachers, students and parents.
-And, we’re building a global “creative community” called The Loop where members join challenges, upload videos, share experiences, network and learn from one another.
