Imagine it! is an "innovation-education" program designed for learners of all ages. Imagine it! features global creativity and innovation challenges and multimedia programs including a documentary film series.
Global Creativity Challenges
What if you gave students a ubiquitous household object and challenged them to be creative? Imagine what they could learn. That's the premise of imagine it! creativity challenges.
Students, in teams, must "add value" to an assigned ubiquitous object...in six days.
Students Make Videos
Each team makes a 3-min video of their project which the students upload to the imagine it! "learning social network" for viewing and judging.
Constructivist Learning
Imagine it! empowers students to develop their own ideas and focus on the process of discovery, giving them opportunities to learn new things in new ways.
21st Century Skills
Students learn: information & media literacy, communications skills, critical thinking, problem solving, creativity and curiosity, interpersonal and collaborative skills, self-direction, social responsibility.
Learning Social Network
Imagine it! includes a leading edge "Web 3.0" learning social network where members participate in creativity challenges, learn to work with new media production tools, showcase their videos, share experiences, network and learn from one another.
