ImagineIt at US Science and Technology Expo
Baird Auditorium, Smithsonian Natural History Museum

ImagineIt! was pleased to be a presenter at the first US Science and Technology Expo held in Washington, DC on October 23-24, 2010.  ImagineIt! screened an abridged version of its video, "ImagineIt!2: The Power of Imagination," followed by an audience discussion led by ImagineIt! CEO Joseph Kayne.  The event was attended by over 400 students, parents and educators.  During the question and answer session, Kayne focused on the importance of first getting students to see themselves making a difference in their respective fields of interests.  That interest then translates into student motivation and creativity when learning how to achieve one's goal in life.

ImagineIt! CEO Keynotes SIPA Annual Conference
Washington, DC

"Profit Ability" was the theme of the annual international gathering of members of the Specialized Information Publishers Association (SIPA).  With the glut of free information on the Internet, some questioned whether corporate or trade association newsletters would remain a viable business model.  ImagineIt! CEO Joseph Kayne was asked to set the stage for the three-day event during which SIPA members would assess the future of their industry.  Encouraging the audience to challenge current assumptions about their products and customers, Kayne demonstrated how good creative process might lead to new approaches to an industry that began with the Kiplinger Newsletter in 1920.  In closing, Kayne suggested the SIPA acronym might better stand for "Seeing Infinite Possibilities Association."
