What if you gave students a pad of Post it® Notes and challenged them to be creative? Imagine what they could learn. That’s the premise of imagine it!, a multimedia “innovation education” program.

The Creativity Challenge

Each student, or team, must “add value” to one pad of Post it® Notes in six days. Value can be measured in any way each student or team wants. Examples: social value, entertainment value, environmental value, monetary value, personal value, etc.

Students Make a Video

Each student or team makes a 3-min video of their project, which the students upload to the imagine it! “learning social network” for viewing and judging.

Documentary & Multimedia

Imagine it! includes a 1-min. inspirational video to launch the challenge; dozens of learning video clips; plus a 45-min. film about creativity and innovation to show at the end of the challenge.

Constructivist Learning

Imagine it! empowers students to develop their own ideas and focus on the process of discovery, giving them opportunities to learn new things in new ways.

21st Century Skills

Students learn: information & media literacy, communications skills, critical thinking, problem solving, creativity and curiosity, interpersonal and collaborative skills, self-direction, social responsibility.
